Up for sale is a stunning and somewhat rare 1964 Epiphone FT-110N Frontier in its original natural finish. This might just be my personal favorite acoustic in the shop right now and I must say it sounds glorious. What makes this one special? We typically see the mid 60s Frontiers in sunburst and this one being natural with a factory heel stinger gives it some serious swagger and cool factor. Nut width is 1 5/8 and the neck measures .85 @ 1st and .93 @ 9th.
This example is entirely original sans one strap button and is free of any top, back or side cracks. There is a decent amount of finish wear, finish checking and play wear and the frets have been leveled and are on the med / low side. The guitar plays well but if maximum playability is desired this guitar would benefit from a refret. Pro setup in house and comes complete with a period correct Gibson hard case. Weight: 5lbs. 4oz.
NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
