Up for sale is a 1997 Gibson Les Paul Elegant in Heritage Cherry Sunburst. Gibson made some stunning guitars in the 90's and this one is no slouch. Check out the top! This one comes to us from the home of the previous owner in what I would say is good condition but with a few major cosmetic and functional notes.
First off the face of the headstock has been refinished. In the right light you can see the inlay under the black paint and a "Les Paul model" signature design has been added. This does not affect the playability but is definitely worth mentioning. In addition the finish has begun to check over time. This is visible across most of the instrument but notably on the face of the headstock and the body. This does not affect playability in any way but is absolutely worth mentioning. Somewhere along the way the frets were replaced, the fret job is good and is done with jumbo wire. There is a bit of visible wear in the first few positions, nothing major but worth mentioning. Both pickups appear to be stock and this one sounds great and we feel is priced to move. Stop by and give this one a spin!
